I was wondering if anyone has some advice on where to get pistons for a 997 engine

I understand JP Engineering
(jp.com.au) has a web site saying they stock a wide range of unusual pistons.

Has anyone had any experience with them ?

or a better idea where to get some pistons from /

any help would be appreciated.

thanks

Ashley

I use JP pistons in a number of engines I build and they are happy to make 997 pistons.

There is a motorbike piston you can use also, but I can't remember which one, ill find out and get back to you.

I offset bored a 997 block out to 68mm back in 1967. That's a heap more than .080"... more like .150".
With a 1098 crank and rods, it was 1218cc.
