if you have an old PC power supply, think ATX is the way to go, you can use the connector, just cut it down to what you need. maybe the hook won't work and check the housing, some holes are square, some round at the bottom. thats what i used with my MJ tester |

Farnell http://au.farnell.com/jsp/home/homepage.jsp The way that Molex themselves sell this stuff, you need to buy the body and the pins seperate. And it's ususally a bag of 100 pins. |

Forget making your own, crimping them is a royal pain unless you have tools. I replaced mine with a computer power supply cable... HOWEVER! Make sure you cut it right. You need to cut off pins to make sure the clip and the hole shapes line up as said above. If you look at it CAREFULLY first, then cut it to suit, its a perfect plug... and wires are all on and crimped REALLY well. Cheers, Peter |
