I have a vacuum gauge!

It broke and I didn't notice. Don't get one.

I bought all the different gauges, spent time wiring them all up and then ripped them all out except the tacho to go back to more of an original look.

I have
Tacho, fuel, temp, oil pressure

Oil pressure doesn't work but I have a hole in my dash so what are you going to do.

I like the temp gauge as it lets you know when things are going bad in advance :)

My fuel gauge has a handy security feature in it where when the tank is full it shows empty and when empty it shows full. If it gets nicked they will run out of juice.

Just a clock is fine.

Mine has the standard speedo, temp, oil, fuel. I have added a nice smiths tacho and I would like to add a smiths clock, but think one small gauge on its own will look silly, so I might also put in volts or .....???

How about a speedo that's accurate?

An amp-meter is a pretty handy one. Lets you know what your charging system is doing.

i disagree. it will only show the current draw at a particular point. and depending on how it is connected its probably not going to mean anything. and thats if you install it correctly and dont burn out wires or set your car on fire. they are more trouble than they are worth.

an oil pressure, a water temp (maybe a battery meter) are all you need

I found a period Smiths Vacuum gauge and have it installed in the deluxe. I think it is cool. Got it for about $5.

I would have to say a constant send temp. gauge, as these are a great back up for the electric.
Volt gauge, clock and Tacho.

don't want to over do it.
