When i jack my car up in the rear the donut, trumpet and rod are loose, ie i can wiggle them and have to be careful that the donut seats in again as the jack goes down. is this normal / strange / unsafe ? is there a good visual guide for adjusting hi-lo's anywhere? as i want to re-adjust the front height and make sure the rear is safe. |

Yes it is normal that they hang loose. There's a guide on TMF uk for installation of hi-los, with estimates on adjustment:ride height ratios. http://www.theminiforum.co.uk/forums/in ... opic=10239 |

As long as the donuts are not pancakes, if you have your ride hight set that low, you should be running rear shocks for a lowered car to stop this happening. Yes, it can be dangerous. |
