mine only lines up to one of the thermo bolts.

do i need to drill another hole? or have i got another type steady bracket?

sounds like you have the std mini bracket,,, you`ll need a "1275" bracket

Yes sound like the steady you have is a small bore one need a 1275 one or mod the one you have to fit means cutting and rewelding though
