why is it people have to be seen to be doing something for a good cause? I'm sure many more people would be happier to just buy one of the usual variants & have the money going towards supporting a good cause :?

But if I buy normal wheels and drive around with them, people will be "Oh look at him spending all that money on wheels when he could donate some money to a good cause"....

If they are bright pink people will be like "Oh how nice is he... buying something because the money went to a good cause........."

I think Warren Buffett made the same argument - people told him to donate his hundreds of millions in the 1990's. He refused then, but now he has chosen to donate his tens of billions :wink:
