The engine bay lets it down.
Overspray on things under the bonnet makes it look like a quick spray job.
No paint on the cylinder head that makes it look like it has been badly overheated.
Rust stained radiator that also looks like it has been overheated.

I would hate to pay big bucks for an S to find out that it is needs a lot more spent on it.

and a clubman steering column and that weird panel the tacho is in and the door cards also let it down.

I do like the way the breather runs from the side cover. :lol:

It does look like a Cooper S block so at least it has that going for it!

Looks like it needs a bit of TLC, I would want to get that for the right price as it looks like it needs a bit of work, and who knows what surprises the power plant holds, it looks a bit tired under the bonnet. May not even have S internals or an S box.
