I must have done a better job of putting the tank back this time and it it tucked in nice a snug but the retaining strap bolt is nigh on impossible to reach - what do people do/use to tighten it up? |

Tried that - can't get in the top real good - just thought might try the universal joint connection to follow the curve of the tank around so to speak. |

I use a uni joint on a 3/8th drive. I use a rattle gun (suitably turned down) to get it straight without pulling sideways. |

I use a 1/4"Drive set with a looooong extension (about 500 mm long) and a 13mm socket. 1/2" is the correct sixe but the 13mm is a little bigger so doesn't need to line up as accurately. |

PO on my blue clubman used a 50mm roof screw. I won't tell anyone that I put the tank back in with the same roof screw. |
