Small world we live in.

After Remembrance Day ceremonies at our local Cenotaph in Pitt Meadows, B.C. Canada on November 11th, I got to chatting with a woman from Australia (34 years in Canada) and her husband from Ireland (33 years in Canada).

She has a 1968 Morris Mini in Brisbane with rollup windows and quarterlights. Her Mom kept it saying, "If you come back to Australia, you will need a car!" Mom drives it regularly at 79 years of age.

We were chatting at the side of a late UK RHD Mini, when the owner and his son came to the car. He had purchased the 1992 Mini and shipped it via container for $1,000. Turns out he had been a founder of the Vancouver Mini Club in the early 1970s and was keen to get involved after living in the US for several years.

No indication of wanting to sell or...to respond to my offer to arrange shipping to Canada with Roo. If she changes her mind, they know where I live.

If you see a 79 year old Grandmother careening about Brisbane in a '68 Morris Mini that could be the car.
