twin 1.25" carbies or twin 1 1/4 carbies ; same as what was on standard cooper "S" they are LH RH carbes not LH LH carbies. on manifold and links and stuff, its ready to bolt strait in Will these fit and run on a standard 998 with extractors and an exhaust... ![]() ![]() |

i think they should. they used to fit on 998 coopers with the same head and since extractors would fit on a 998 head and a 1275 head, i reckon those would fit too (implying 1275 heads are similar to 998 heads). its the tuning that may be the problem |

they'll fit no worries, but will need to be tuned appropriately. I have a mate with a clubby and twin 1 1/4's on it. goes well! Are you buying them? how much?? They are the same as JAM's ![]() |

Not all LCB manifolds fit with twin carbs, most Oz ones do, but the Maniflow doesn't. Nor does the Brownrigg. ![]() |

To fit these twin carbs on a 998cc LS in 100% orginal condtion, will i have to make any other mods such as the exhaust or anything?? Just curious. Also wopuld it make a noticable power difference? anyone in Perth purchased twin carbs from anywhere? |

Your probably going to have to hack up your stock exhaust manifold, cause it's one piece, or buy a new LCB or Cooper freeflow to use, which would be the better option.. And, yep, there will be a noticable increase in power over the stock 1.25"SU Personally I think they're a PITA to keep in tune.. |

They are only a PITA if they are worn. If in good nick they will hold tune well. And many people reckon they give better bottom end torque than a single SU does. ![]() |
