Small world we live in. After Remembrance Day ceremonies at our local Cenotaph in Pitt Meadows, B.C. Canada on November 11th, I got to chatting with a woman from Australia (34 years in Canada) and her husband from Ireland (33 years in Canada). She has a 1968 Morris Mini in Brisbane with rollup windows and quarterlights. Her Mom kept it saying, "If you come back to Australia, you will need a car!" Mom drives it regularly at 79 years of age. We were chatting at the side of a late UK RHD Mini, when the owner and his son came to the car. He had purchased the 1992 Mini and shipped it via container for $1,000. Turns out he had been a founder of the Vancouver Mini Club in the early 1970s and was keen to get involved after living in the US for several years. |

No indication of wanting to sell or...to respond to my offer to arrange shipping to Canada with Roo. If she changes her mind, they know where I live. If you see a 79 year old Grandmother careening about Brisbane in a '68 Morris Mini that could be the car. |
