umm no idea. I assume its from a four stroke bike then. Maybe see what kind of oil they use and see if its the same as car engine oil. if so Id think youd be safe. Chrome would look pretty cool anyway

i have bought a harley davidson chrome oil filter with the idea of putting it on lil-ute it fits and looks good but can you use a bike filter on a car. the bike filter is 5 microns what is a mini filter. any help would be good cheers allan |

that ok. just wiki-ied oil filters and the only micron rating is stating 1-2 microns for HE filters (high efficiency). no average specs though. To me the micron rating is how restrictive the filter is and how efficient it is. so 1 means tiny gaps and 10 would be larger gaps etc. so smaller number is better filtration. I rekon ask around and see what the rating is for a minis filter. But if the bike one is the same size/thread and looks the same looking into it, I dont see why it wouldnt work |
