It is nice and some hard work and $$$ have gone in to it, but there are some bits that have been rushed and some small mods. Like I say, it is nice but not ~$60k nice! Good find all the same. |

![]() Well yeah on the booster hose now you mention it.. but the rad hose ones are correct for a Mk1. ![]() |

For a "better than new restoration" I'd expect that the Smiths' oil gauge to look as new, not filthy and pitted like it is! ![]() |

![]() And I doubt an English 1964 Cooper S would have come out with a Celsuis water temp Gauge?! (And wouldn't have been a full circle, capillary type either). Seems a number of things not up to scratch for a top price, full "better than new restoration" vehicle |
