I have a setup but its not tested, I know bnicho has a setup running in his mke though.
Both are electronic VDO units.

Hey all Just wondering if anyone knows of a way of hooking up an electronic speedo in a mini? or of any avalible that suit the cable drive that arent standard? e.g autometer/vdo etc??? Cheers James |

The speedo itself it easily obtained, nearly any auto store should have something available. The sensors are the tricky bit. I have a speed sensor from a motorbike that fits the mini speedo cable, but Bnicho reckons they dont work (as mentioned mine us untested). I believe he has a GM unit modified to do the job. Hopefully he'll find the thread and fill us in a bit more.
