Post subject: | Another rover photo request: Washer bottle mount |
I'm putting a rover washer bottle in my car, the type that goes in the boot on the rear wheel arch. Can somebody please take a photo of the mounting bracket for me without the washer bottle in the way? It just unclips off. And whilst we're at it, where does the hose run from the boot to the front? I was just going to run it along the floor down the driver side. Thanks. ![]() |

Hi, Mine unfortunately at the front. But like to see boot setup too, might change myself. More space at the engine bay. |

my SPi had it inside the boot, but i had to remove it to fit a RH fuel tank. so i can not offer any pics. but its just a triangle shaped mount welded to the arch. the hose runs up, over the window and door, through the firewall. thats why it needs a valve to prevent the water flowing back. a small plastic part, often leaky and flooding the boot |

I am pretty sure my Rover has it in the boot, but its all been pulled out because the old owner said it leaked all the time. Given all the other things that were wrogn with the car when i got it, this didnt surprise me. I will see if there is a strap or mount or something similar i can take pics of. The tube to the washer jets in my car went from the jets, across the firewall, down the inside of the passenger side wheel arch, under the passenger seat up through the bottom of the rear seat, into the boot and into where the bottle should be. |
