...you can be so dumb....

The Elf clutch hydraulics gave up the ghost....
so swapped over the slave cylinder and hose...

(long story short eventually found the "new" (3 years old) hose borrowed from the project car completely blocked.... negating all other efforts until diagnosed.)

Original fault thus looked to be master cylinder - so got overhault kit..
Pulled down and found rubbers were for different style MC.
However had another MC and swapped over the inards - but could get no pedal pressure...

Swapped inards back into original MC - still no pedal pressure....

Swapped entire Clutch MC and slave and hose from race car ( known to be good..)
Still very poor pedal pressure.....

OK - so perhaps should have put in the Pedal Clevis pin when testing !!
This in and suddenly plenty of pressure....

Probably nothing wrong with any of the MC (after putting in new rubbers) -- just not connected to the pedal

Spent all afternoon ........ :? :?

Ken, don't worry, did I ever tell you about the time I put a cylinder head on the engine and was briefly very confused why the rockers were all loose?

It really helps if you put the push rods in
