I watched the drifting on TV last sunday, i was doing it on Oran Park, Eastern Creek & Wakefeild in 2000, ooohhh how i want my V8 Commodore rally car back 
These guys are getting good sponsership deals out of it, lucky barstards. Doogie |

Doogie That sponsorship is as a result of the growing popularity of the sport...Its always been popular in Japan, but with it taking off in the US through a proper D1 event, its only a matter of time till the same thing happens here. |

my mate does it, he aint bad. BUT very spensive hobby!! 1995 180sx, 2nd rebuild.......not the cheapest thing, but lucky he is sponsored |

When i was getting sideways on race tracks (now know as drifting) tyres were never expensive, i'd just use a set of worn out rally tyres on the rear, they'd last about 40klms in a rally, then i would well & truly screw them on a race track. Doogie |
