Who can tell me about the drifting at Oran Park on Friday night? What time, Who runs it? Any cost to get in?

I watched the drifting on TV last sunday, i was doing it on Oran Park, Eastern Creek & Wakefeild in 2000, ooohhh how i want my V8 Commodore rally car back :cry:

These guys are getting good sponsership deals out of it, lucky barstards.

That sponsorship is as a result of the growing popularity of the sport...Its always been popular in Japan, but with it taking off in the US through a proper D1 event, its only a matter of time till the same thing happens here.

my mate does it, he aint bad. BUT very spensive hobby!!
1995 180sx, 2nd rebuild.......not the cheapest thing, but lucky

Cost of tyres, besnt rims and smacking the wall one in a while...ouch :lol:

When i was getting sideways on race tracks (now know as drifting) tyres were never expensive, i'd just use a set of worn out rally tyres on the rear, they'd last about 40klms in a rally, then i would well & truly screw them on a race track.
