Anyone know the approximate volume of a saloon brake system? Running dual circuit MC, no servo, 7.5" callipers. Just want to make sure I have enough on hand before I fill. Ta' |

No idea but you lose a bit when you bleed them. Plus brake fluid is a handy thing to have around. Top up the fluid as your pads wear and throw on the neighbours car if they're annoying. |

A litre would possibly do it but it would be good to have more on hand in case you have trouble bleeding the systems, as already pointed out. If you've been working on the brakes, a good flush is always a good idea anyway. Regards Al |

the entire braking system is less than one of the small bottles - 500ml? when I do a flush I usually have half an old bottle laying around and put that through, then crack open a fresh one (different colour) and put that through and have some left over |
