Can anyone please tell me if this chassis belongs to an SS, not sure the guy gave me the numbers correctly...

021 = Leyland Mini. It is not an S, SS or LS as they were 022.
D = compliance code = nothing important!
2S = 2 door saloon
1 = trim level 1 = cheap trim. The SS was trim level 3, the LS was 4. (the S was 1 or 2 as they had two levels of trim)
M = 4 speed floor change manual transmission.
09 = 998cc engine.
19566 = production number. I would guess it was built in 5/76.

Not an SS, not even close. :cry:
