I had a set of 100+ on my Cooper S, I have tried to enlarge the wheel but it is not the best, original pic is a bit small, but it may give you an idea of what they looked like, they were from memory a matt black cap with the 100+ wording in a metalic RED and they were just a push in fit. If you enlarge your browser window to 200% or 400% you will get a better idea. ![]() |

Hey Drewie - I can't make it out from the photo. but is the cap flush, or does it stand out, like (say) a spray can lid? Thanks. And Awoody, I'm waiting eagerly to see what you can do. |

They stick out like a spray can lid held against the centre of the wheel. I will see if I can enlarge just the cap area. Sort of a matt/satin black with a large 100+ lettering in the centre in a sort of a metalic red. See if this is any better, I have enlarged it a bit more... ![]() ![]() |

Here are 100+ mags on two of our Minis. The aluminim centre caps are real but the logo in the centre were long gone. My son left his blank... ![]() I put Cooper decals in the center of mine.... ![]() Standard Mini wheel nuts with plastic caps from late 70s Mini were used. |

The wheels were "restored" by polishing the rims and ribs, masking them off to apply automotive black paint to the rest of the wheel (backside, inside too), bake in oven at 200 F for a half hour, let sit for a few weeks (to let the paint fully set) then coat with clear laquer. At one time we had quite a number of 100+ wheels on cycle. Refinishing lasted several years.... |

In the event of confusion, the wheels on our two Minis (above) have 100+ protrusions cast into them. Not 'minilite' in appearance at all. |

Agreed. Look at the photo at the beginning of this thread. That's one of my (refurbished) wheels. I particularly like the rarity of the old school rims. Haven't seen a set on a car in 30 years, but maybe I'm not looking hard enough. Back in the day, 100+, Wolfrace, Superslot and Mamba (just to name a few), were falling out of trees. Now they're like gold. IMO the new generation of mini rims look too "modern"!! |

Hey Coops. As you say, definitely a 100+. The center hole is 63mm, which is a very common size, so someone has obviously fitted the cap off another wheel to fill the hole. But having said that, I like the size/colour of the cap and the symbol isn't too outrageous. I have found a guy in the UK who is trying to get a copy of the art work off the original caps. I'll keep you posted. |
