I have one of these up under the drivers side front mud guard ( just under the headlight but bolted to the inner guard.
Works a treat and quite load at 139dB.

Stebel make a lot for bikes. I can assure you they are nigh on waterproof. Handy in a Mini methinx.

I found a boat horn which bolts straight into the factory mount holes on my Mini S , it is a bit twee , sounds like a Chihuahua being kicked in the balls

I run a pair of Fiamm metal trumpet air horns, refugees from my 1968 Fiat 124 Sport. They are bloody LOUD when I lean on em.
These are mounted in the LH wheel arch, pointing down and forwards to stay dry inside.
They keep the Toyota washer bottle and pump company. 8)

I don't mind them either, nothing tougher than a diesel train horn!

I've also got the Stebel Nautilus. Fantastic for letting idiots know its not cool to cut you off. A 5 second blast usually conveys the message. Compact little unit too.

I have a Fiamm as well. It was funny as a friend told me to get an old Fiat horn as they are really loud. I had already got one from the wreckers for 5 bucks though. When I went home I had a look and it was a Fiamm. It is loud as well.

Those Stebel ones look great. I looked at them ages ago but couldn't justify the spend..

That sounds fantastic, but you may lose your rear seat.

+1 for the stebel. Although, I think I might need to change mine around a little - at the moment it's facing the engine, because mounting it the other way it would hit the front. How have other's mounted it?
