so I got my mega jolt working woo.. finally!

but!!! i was super clumsy & used a screw driver wedging it off.

i was not thinking until that split moment after i did and thought, hmmm that was not a good idea nick...

yes i damaged the oil seal & i bent the case a bit & i can hear the timing chain touching the timing cover and it's dripping oil a bit now :(

so what is the best way to take this sucker off.

maybe a puller of some sort? bit hard to get a hammer in there.

once i take it i can just tap it back with a hammer?

torque is 70ft on that balancer yes?

im going to attack this tomorrow morning and fix it up so i can start to play with my mega jolt :D

If you need to change the cover just make sure that you get the right type. The A+ has a different shape to the normal common ones.

Ok, next point to look at. The early covers have the seal pushed in from the front and the later covers have the seal pushed in from the rear. :D

You should be able to knock your cover back into shape as long as you haven't really molested it.

Making sure that you don't distort the gasket face of the cover

Seeing as you have to replace the timing chain, replace it with a double row chain.
