Not sure if this has been posted before, did a quick search and too much stuff to go through, there are also some interesting links at the top and bottom of the page, with some interesting old photos from the 60's and 70's. Most of the info was provided by Barry Hawkins, who was essentially the 2IC at Downton, so yeah, I think you find our more from someone like that, than most books. And my hat goes off to Mark for putting together and constantly up-dating his fabulous web site. |
