Right, the go with my clutch is the take up point is right on the floor, I always thought this was how it was supposed to be until now. I actually think that the reason i'm starting to crunch my box is because I am not completely releasing the clutch cause it's so badly adjusted. I thought, it couldn't be my throwout adjustment because the clutch still works, but I can't seem to find a solution. So.. can anyone give me some hot tips on how to adjust the take up point...Cheers |

Usually if the actuating bits of your clutch are not worn, and there is no problems with the hydraulics, this simply indicates that the clutch is worn out. As a temporary fix, you can get more travel by winding out the adjustment on the clutch cover - however this will cause the clutch to be partially engaged all the time - and will kill your release bearing really quick!!! My car is doing similar things at the moment, however, as I've only owned 2 months, I have no idea how old the clutch is. So I've just ordered new actuating arm, release bearing carrier, release bearing and clevis pins from Karcraft, to get rid of any slop, will then double check the hydraulics, if still no joy, then it's time for a new clutch... |

there are two nuts on the clutch cover undo them a bit and see if it makes it any better makka |

Righto, thanks guys, I'll give those ideas a burl tomorrow.. I don't think the clutch is worn out. I replaced it about a year ago when I got my beast on the road. But.. I could have worn it out real quickly because it was so out of adjustment? (not fully engaged/disengaged at times) Is that possible? Again, cheers. |

pulver on the clutch peddle at the top is a clevis pin they also wear and can cause this issue to absoloute bastard to change also did you put a return spring from the slave cylinder to the clutch arm makka |
