Would I be correct in assuming the Morris 1100 has the same engine in it as a mini 1100?? If so would it be a easy transplant.? Thanks

Basic engine is same, gearbox is not quite.
1100 is 3 synchro not 4, and has a 4.26:1 diff ratio. useless in a road Mini.
Remote shift housing setup a bit different too.
Engine mount setup is different at crank pulley end.

Pull the motor off the 1100 box and stick it on a Mini one.
