Yeah just because I just had to have something ELSE in my shed.

I bought it from Dezception (Aaron) after he advertised it in the For Sale section and I picked it up this afternoon.

Motor looks to be nice and clean which was the main reason why I bought it, but there were also a few added bonuses too, like a new set of Bridgestone 160/70/10s which will fit nicely on my Contessa rims. Not to mention a WHOLE heap more stuff.. I is a happy Mini owner.

Might put this Van on a Suzuki Sierra chassis and paint it up like a mini A-team van. What do you guys and gals think? 8)

I think an A-team van would look cool with the spotties and wing. looks like a good buy there.

LOL Don't bet on it. I work six days a week. I have my 1976 mini S to finish and I also have to get my Falcon back on the road. Not to mention all the other stuff I got to get done on a weekly basis.

There's not alot of rust on it, some repair panels have been welded in already with a skim coat of filler over them. the little beastie has been completely stripped. Sub frames have already be stripped down and painted. Looks like I just need to replace the sill panels, repair or replace the front apron and fix a few small dents, paint it and put it all back together. :)

So put tinted moon windows on it, get some purple shag pile carpet and spray paint "Shaggin Wagon" down the side with a sticker on the back windows that says "Don't laugh, it might be your daughter in here"?

The mattress is what they put down on the ground to protect the side when Aaron cut the sill off. Now it belongs to my Mutt Luggs. And the van has already been taken over by the Moggies..

Well it's completely stripped so it's just the shell and pretty light weight compared to some of the things I have to lift on a daily basis, although I literally had to lift it with one arm because my left wrist is in a splint. Fortunately my cousin tagged along and Aaron and his Dad were also there to help us out too. Getting it off was harder. :)
