Some of the causes for clutch shudder (judder);-
Worn Primary Gear bushes,
Oil on Clutch Plate,
Worn Clutch Plate,
Bent Clutch Plate,
Drive Straps stretched, loose or incorrectly assembled (usually with the wrong bolts),
Flywheel and / or Backing Plate running off and in need of machining,
Broken spring in the Diaphram,
Worn Crank Tail,
Excessive end float of the Primary Gear,
Broken / Damaged / Very Worn Idler Gear Bearing,
Flywheel loose on the Tail of the Crank,
Worn Splines on the Clutch Plate and / or Primary Gear
The most common causes that I have found would be the top three on that list, so I'd suggest starting there. In one case (which drove me mad

) I could find no reason, however I replaced the Clutch plate and it came good. The plate was more thoroughly examined and no defect found. It was fitted in another car and was OK so ???
