In the current street machine mag they use Wurth's rustgard for a tech article on rust. They also mention that Rustoleum, POR-15, Deoxydine, Killrust and Ranex work well. I havent tried any of these yet though. What areas are you treating? I have paint stripped my doors and not sure what to do for the inside them as far as rust prevention, anyone got any tips? |

Just read that article...That wurths stuff seemed to work good. ANyone know where you can get that? Otherwise I'll probably go with Por-15. |

I've used most of 'em, best I've found is Loctite (was Permatex) Rust Converter. In a white bottle with orange cap. Not cheap, but it works. And it's not runny like Ranex etc, it stays put before drying. You can then paint it, or fill it, no problem. I did some steel stuff and left it out in the weather for months. It didn't rust.. |

I am not a 100% sure but I was under the impression that Wurths was only available to the trade. I have never seen it retailed. |
