The red one with the pedal is the brake fail light.... So it comes on , then ya go "FUUCK ME DRUNK! NO BRAKES" And by then its too late ![]() Not sure about the others... The other cable that looks like teh choke could be an internal bonnet release maybe.... have a tug. ![]() |

The switch part of it is to test the bulb. So if the brakes fail, and the bulb does not light, you will never know if your brakes have failed ![]() Silly, innit? |

if u can switch it i dont think it would be the brake fail light. on leylands it usually sits on top of the dash in the vinyl top, next to the handbrake light. the 'dimmer' siwtch on the right of the steerign column is used to dim or brighten the lights illuminating the dash at night [ when ur light are on] hence probably no noticable occurences during the day. Mine has a bit of a flat spot only when the engien is cold tho.once warmed up it usually is Aok hope that helps |

Anyway now it's much better....the pedal feels a bit softer BUT if I press it hard to the floor it can lock up the fronts, is this about as good as they will get OR should I be able to lock up the front and back?? Cheers KiwiMR2 Most of the weight is over the front wheels, when you brake heavy you are transferring even more weight to the fronts.... You don't want to lock the backs up anyway....that could be real interesting ![]() |
