998....

shove in an 1100 crank and u then have a 1098 in a 998 block, then bore it out 20th to 1127? (that right?)

RED 850 has a turbo 13XX something beast!

cheers

Grants (boostedmini) is a 1400 somthing !!

I'm exploring the 998/1100 hybrid at the moment....., I've got a crank, rods, block and few other bits and pieces ( )

Considering an 0.020" off-set ground 1100 crank and about 0.040" block..... so looking at about 1230cc ?

running 14Psi boost through a 12G940 (1316) head (DRMINI SPECIAL) and a GR "Turbo Special RE-13) should be good for around 120@ wheels and very, very drivable .....

I lean towards the small-block pureley for the novelty and replacement values.... (No one turbos small blocks, especially 998's!!) and I'f i blow it totally, it should cost about $500 to replace !!

good luck...
J

Can vouch for the stroker engine. Mine runs great at the moment, it's very drivable. Specs in signature. However I will be looking for more horsepower with a 1275 soon.

yeah i did a 14.4 @ 94MPH at Eastern Creek, i had a fair bit of wheel spin and was running 13" rims too, I think with 10's and the better tune i have now i recon a high 13 to a lower 14 is just around the corner.

I'd go the 1275cc route with turbo. I'm not dissing anyone who has a bored out 850/998 (I kinda like the idea of a small block maxed out TO THE EXTREME! - props to those people), but isn't it easier just to get a 1275 transplant which has more power?

PS: I just read the message out aloud, and it sounds like I was being sarcastic. I'm genuinely not trying to be. :D
