Greetings all. Had some issues wuth my twin SU's. Seem to be sucking air or got a blockage. So I've stripped and cleaning completely. First time around I did'nt put any sealer on the gaskets. Q: Should I use Gasket Goo on the new gaskets? Could they be leaking in air? The butterfly bushes are fairly good. I think a blockage was the prob, but "to Goo or not to Goo? Cheers Alex. |

Thanks gentlemen. I'll go dry. I boiled them up in Lemon Juice for about and hour, and they look better than new. I then flushed em and CRC'd and dried well. They are now squeaky clean. I will also face em on the steel bench for a perfect seal. Would recommend this method: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Clean- ... id=1460030 Wife got a bit worried about her new kitchen, is this normal? (LOL) Cheers Alex. |
