Just saw a Suzuki ad on the telly - a selling point it that it features a "racing car style push button start" - My MK1 has got one of them ![]() ![]() |

The old FJ Holden I taught my self to drive in had the old push button start on the dash. |

My A30 was the opposite. It had a Pull Button Start on the Dash. Dicko |

My 64 valiant AP5 has a push-button automatic transmission. Some newer cars have this 'new feature' now. |

All 200 LC have a push button so do Camrys, aurions, Klugers, prados Ix35 Hyundais, most euro trash and a few Frods, its getting like it was a few years ago where every car had a crappy spoiler stuck on it only this time its a woopty doo button ![]() ![]() |

My 1959 Mk2 Jag had a push button start. Sometimes it was a push the car start. |

My 1926 Chev 4 had a push button start. it was a BIG (foot suitable) button on the floor.. ![]() |

So to catch up with the past we need a push button start, push the button on the floor headlight dipper and a push button auto. ![]() |

I drove a truck with a foot operated washer and wiper! And the damn Euro trucks with a foot operated exhaust brake. I catch my heel on the button because I don't have European feet. The motor makes a nice clatter when you are powering up the highway with the exhaust brake on! |
