The speedo is mechanical, the other gauges are not and depend on the printed circuit.

could be the voltage regulator - the I terminal feeds to the fuel and temperature guages. wombat makes electronic ones that are far more reliable than the old ones (and a hell of a lot cheaper!).
could be the printed circuit also - 40+years and they tend to be frail. "convertable mini" makes new ones on this forum.

try grounding out the wires (one at a time) that are connected to the fuel sender, if the guage goes to full when one of the (+) wires is connected to earth then its the sender.

If it doesnt make the fuel gauge go full for either wire (just the + should not both cables but just incase you have them reversed try both) then you possibly have one of the issues posted above above.

I'd place my bet on the printed circuit board, too. They are a little flimsy. But I reckon the big plug in the back might have just come loose.

Do your dash lights work?

If this is a clubby there is usually a fuse on the firewall mixed in with the loom. Not the normal one on the inner wheel arch but on the firewall about 10-15cm away if you follow the loom inside the car.
