Hi All,

I have a Mini over my Dad's that I need to bring home in the not to distant future. The fuel pump died and I need a new one - it had a -> Carter Universal Electric Fuel Pump 72 GPH P4070, I had a spare one laying around, tried that as well but also dead..........

So I need a replacement - any suggestions on brand etc, or are Carters good enough and just stick with that?

The engine is a 1330 that is worked with twin 1 1/2 SU's and allot of good gear in it (set up for Tarmac Rallies), it gets the occasional track time and likes a drink when going flat out.

Cheers,

Kuzzy

I use Facet 40104N solid state electric ones, they go just about forever. Not expensive. Work with SUs, Dellorto or Weber, no regulator needed.
Feeds my 45 Dellorto well.
I mount them on a Mini square exhaust mount. Then you cannot hear them with engine running.
