I know Id have the info at home, but was gunna pick some new globes up on my way home this arv. A few years back I fitted LED stop/tail and ind lamps. I think they might be to directional and dont light the plastic lens up as well as a standard filament lamp. So what is the recommended wattage of stop/tail and ind lamps? These are they ones currently fitted: ![]() |

Yeah I reckon they're too directional as well, you'd need some sort of diffuser on a mini tailight. Are you after the original spec lamp ratings? Brake is dual filament 21W+5W & the indicator is just a single 21W. cheers Jacob |

Anyone want a free set of LED indicators and Stop/Tail lamps? The standard filament globes are much better!!!!! |

I have seen a lot of the LED 'bulbs' available for retro fit as a replacement for the stock filiment types but they all say (to the effect) that they are not suitable for road use. Maybe this is why? |

They might b kinda ok with the LEDS around the outside of them. But I found they just weren't as bright as a filament globe. |
