Hi All,

I have had a leak on the pipe union from the mechanical fuel pump to my carbies for a while now.
I removed the pipe and noted that someone has done a botch up job on it. No problems, go down to my local mini guy and get a new one.
He said that he cannot make one up, and most 2nd hand ones are rooted.

Any suggestions as to where i can get one from, or who will be the best people to see about making a new one up.

I'm surprised that this is such a trauma.

Thanks

Rocco

I don't know what size these are off hand, I've never had to measure one, but a fuel leak there is pretty serious, so you could also consider a new pump. They are not really expensive.

I know it's not the pump, it is definately leaking past the union.

A good brake place should be able to knock one up.

Ah, I only suggested that as the new pumps have cast in inlet & outlet pipes, no unions to leak.
