hi, i need the sequence for undoing the bolts on a cooper s head.if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

also can it be used on an 1100 & would there be any benefit ?

Location: near Baulkham Hills, NSW
Start at the ends (alternately) and work inwards. Undo the S end stud and bolt first.
[edit] Method is applicable to all A series heads.

If you fit it to an 1100 engine, might need to watch yr Compression Ratio, it will be higher with the C/S Head and so may lead to pinging. You may also need to make sure the valves don't kiss the block, depends on cam and rockers you have. As far as benifits go, you may loose some low RPM torque but you'll likely gain at at higher RPMs.

thanks gt,as far as i know it`s a stock 1100 so i`ll just leave it as it is.

My bad, I thought he was talking about the undo sequence, not whether an S head would work on a smallbore.
