Hi guys, I am pressuming everything was zinc plated Silver, ie bolts, hydro brake lines, and masterhead cylinders,
And the undercarage Hydro line bash plate was gold plated..
Anything else Zinc Plated Gold??

I've never seen a `gold plated' hydro bash plate on an original car... they were all zinc silver.:wink:
Anyway back then anything that looked gold, was usually cadmium plated, not zinc.
Cad plating has pretty much gone now due to OHS concerns (cadmium is a poison).

So it was all silver its just gold coloured plating is a personal preference then :-)
