I bought one of these yesterday.....seems their Xmas special is still running...

http://ppc.au.com/category115_1.htm

That gun is an absolute bargain. I bought the model below this one last year for $10 more!

Since I have 3 cars to paint (plus 1 engine bay) within this year, I thought I should upgrade.

I got the 2 pack nozzle (1.4mm).

Their range of paints and kits are awesome too!

hmmm....I think my old gun (S990) would run at 40psi, but this gun I bought yesterday (S980) needs 40 - 55psi...I think. It says on the box...I will check.

Nope.....

Next car is KEV's son's Clubby in Monza Red 2 pack
Then Aaron's van's bay
Then My inlaws 850 in Sunset Red 2 pack
Then Pops is getting a resto and full respray in original Crystal White

Pops will be my wifes Mini to tag along on outings. She is rather excited about that too :D

I just rang PPC about something else, and they are brilliant to deal with. I don't usually give free plugs, but they really do deserve one!

For those who have asked about POR15 in the past, this is the place to buy it.

nah, I am a 2 pack virgin. I stuck with what I knew (acrylic) on JAM....but Kev wants his sons clubby in 2 pack so that will be a new learning curve. It's better to paint with 2 pack, coz u spray it and its done. Rubbing back and buffing is hard work.....

Yeah true, but when you get a run or something it aint as easy to get out, and from what i heared, if your not exactly spot on youll get a run...apparently its like spraying the car with water its so runny, plus you need a booth and all cos its so shtinky. but meh, as long as the neigbours are nice who gives a rats!!

yea 2 pack requires a 1.4mm nozzle...prolly because it's very thin in texture. Acrylic uses 2.0mm or 2.5mm

Spraying is an art. Technique determines results.

I am looking forward to trying out 2 pack.
