Im sure there was recently a post somewhere about getting custom door handles and window winders made up from some UK mob?????

Seems to have been deleted for some reason?

I bought these many years ago??? No idea where from??? Maybe Mini Kingdom or Mini Car Clinic? I remember they were not cheap....

(Yes I got the screw heads powdercoated red)

When we went to the International Mini Meeting at Long Bridge in 09 there were many different sellers selling these sets for 28 Pounds. My friend "Rover" brought a couple of sets for his Rovers.

No, not straight out of the box, although there is an adapter available.

The ones that I bought have the square hole and are a perfect fit.

Can't find the post (IIRC the topic title didn't seem that descriptive to me...)

But the link I am thinking of is to these guys: http://www.dsnclassics.co.uk/

Yep that was them. Perhaps the original poster asked for the topic to be removed?

DSN classics sell a range of billet alloy products for the mini.
Most of these parts have "holes" in them as part of the design, possibly for weight reduction purposes. I don't like this look, so i contacted them personally and asked if the products could be made without the holes.i.e solid alloy.
They told me they would change the design but for an individual item it would cost over 25% extra for CNC machine programming. They also said if more than one of any item were ordered then they would produce it at the same cost as usual.
So if you want the following items mad without holes, let me and them know - (you would order and pay separately) so that they can make the items in the same batch.
I will wait a week before sending my order. After that anyone will have to pay the extra 25-35% for any modifications to the designs.
Pictures of the items are shown in the link below.

The parts I am wanting to order are as follows.

1. Inner Opening Handles - RetroSport billet alloy - pair – silver
2. Window Winders - RetroSport billet alloy - pair – silver
3. Bottom Engine Steady Bar - RetroSport Billet Alloy (gearbox to front of subframe) - standard length (all cars except '90 on 1275 and automatics) - silver
