Just had a post on the Morris Owners Club Hunter Region site that there is a Morris 1100s available, free to a good home in Gulgong NSW. From memory the 1100s ran a 1275 block (I had one in my clay beige 1100 from an 1100s donor car). This car is a runner too so its no seized up barn find from initial reports. Info available on http://www.morrisownersclub.org by clicking on the "MorrieChat" button on the top left. Good luck! |

Just be aware it says it's an "Automatic" - these blocks can be used in transverse manual cars, but they need some machining mods (see the dr mini sticky). cheers Jacob |

The 1100S Auto is a very rare car. About 768 of them were made. |

My donk is a 12YE/A/H, it has had the Auto-to-Manual mod done to it. I wonder if it was a Morris 1100 Auto donk once upon a time? |

My grandad had a 1300 automatic from memory, it was a different shape body to an 1100, possibly same as a 1500 OHC but not the hatchback Nomad. Is any of this correct ? If so how many 1300 autos were there. Maybe I am dreaming. |

Off his FB page: Mike Byron has just apparently acquired another 1100s - thanks for the tip KB. The owner was actually trying to track me down to give me first option before it went up for general grabs. 12 hours ago · Unlike · You and 3 |
