I have just replaced the starter motor....The one I took out had a broken spring...looks like it broke very recently. My question is....How easy is it to replace the spring? |

Easiest done with the spring compression tool, then actually very easy. Without the tool, you may get it apart but I doubt you'd be able to re-assemble. Usually, when the spring goes, it's also a sign that the pinion is alo about to split and the bendix is worn. |
