First time I've seen this picture. A '74 Clubman Safety Research Vehicle.
It just needs a fatter front rubber bumper to really set it off.

headlights look a bit too MGish for me... But it does look like there'd be a heap of space in the engine bay 
Mabe two mini engines in there. go twin steer like that car off thunderbirds

There is nothing wrong with that car that a different shell and a fresh coat of blue paint wouldn't fix.

Lets face reality..that Safety clubman really is just plain ugly. Oops  the safety clubman is a "variant"
