great pics matey

can someone tell me why pic one has a dented front valance
my matic has a thick guage steel shovel guard and im guessing it knocked up into my front valance

but that car doesnt look like it has one

Great shots...very historic...but wot has been blacked out on the front of the 850?? :?

BTW...the Stewart shots are of Laurie Stewart...correct?

No idea :!: possibly bashed up out of the way to aid servicing :?: bashed up that way to try and cool the gearbox to try and prevent failure?? more likely, smacked into something hard then kept on racing :!: :shock: :D

yeah all are laurie. nothing has been blacked out on the 850, its a retouched photo ( old hand painted one ) and thats the oil cooler and hoses.

shovel guard = number plate holder

he has removed it to save weight.

i reckon the valance is dented begause that is where he jacked it up :wink:
