Dear Agony Aunt....
I;ve just ordered my 5 Speed Box, should I keep my Mk2 Cooper S gearbox. Thats in good condition, or sell it? I would like to keep it, but would like the $$$ to offset some of the cost of the 5 speed box.

cheers

I'd keep it and when the 5 speed fails in 10,000kms whack the S box back in.

can you take some nice close-up photos of it when you get it?

mate of mine had a drive of my cooper today and reached for 5th - it really could use a 5th gear
