Hey one of mine is leaking I am about 99% sure I have Cooper AP 7.5" discs. Which rear cylinders should I be using. From what I remember when I did this last there are 3/4" 5/8" cylinders. Spoke to someone this morning at Mspares & he mentioned 1/16" cylinders. Which ones guys? [/img] |

For a disc brake front end you need 5/8" rear cylinders. 3/4" rear cylinders are for cars with drum brake front ends. 1/16" cylinders seem a bit small. I would think you may have misheard the measurement. |

There is some usefull information on the Minispares UK website. Here is a brief cut and paste which may assist? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a guide to start with, working suggestions I have used with reasonable success can be generally channeled into a few groups - *Discs with 4-pots and latest built-in servo and 7.5" discs with S-type servo, use GWC1131 -- 0.5625"(14.29mm) . *8.4" discs with or without servo, use GWC1126 -- 0.500"(12.7mm). *7.5" discs no servo use GWC1129 -- 0.6875"(17.46mm) . it's a working start. |
