Post subject: | Fuel tank & Rear arm |
Will be taking out the fuel tank this weekend due to needing to replace the rear trailing arm. (have shocks) It has to be a quick out and back in job need the car on sunday. I wanted to treat the inside of the tank but I don't think I'll be able to get that done so just going to check for any pinhole leaks while it's out. I'm not expecting it to b more than a few beers later just in time for Friday night footy. Are there any bushes etc I should replace whilst doing this?[/list] |

Put rear on stands... Unbolt subframe lower with trolley jack ... Replace rubbers bolt back up?? about 5 minutes per side... do it one side at a time, don't let the whole subframe down. Put your axle stands under the body in front of the subframe Just undo the bolts through the boot, and the big nut on the stub poking out from the subframe and put a pry bar between the subframe and the body and lever it down enough to pull the mount thingy out. new v's old, I did the front ones a couple of years ago, you should have seen them... ![]() |
