A few Mini items have sold recently on eBay for quite large sums. I guess the market establishes the value when an item is rare and desirable. WTF!!!! I was gonna throw my old hoses out! I bought a new cooler and thought that the old ones looked a bit, well you know, crappy. Maybe I should list all the stuff coming off Moneypit? |

I'm worried about old oil cooler hoses as I had once burst many years ago, and 75lb of oil pressure does make a mess of the engine bay and windshield |

Ah, so, the old Cooper S Tax is alive and well......I wonder if they are going to review this one with all the other Taxes ![]() I'm pretty sure those door switches are available new, over the counter, about 8 odd bucks last time I bought one. |

I think this is a bit of a worry really! Now a rusty 'S' is worth more dead than alive...people will start to wreck snotters instead of restoring them to make a quick buck! |

I got a set of the non-right angle version of these switches from The Miniking a few years back. I believe he said they were from P76's(Maybe for a glovebox light??). I was told they might be problems with clearance but didn't have any dramas. I tried on another one to make the right angle (its the only difference between the two, one is bent and one is not) but the material is simply too brittle. All the same, for a 69 car at least, there is no clearance issues with the P76 version of the switches. |
