Fingers that can bend in every which way......

Not difficult but fiddley. You will need to compress the Rubber Donut to take the load off it to get it out, unless the donuts are karput, in which case you might as well change them at the same time.

Oh, and replace at least the knuckle joint cup while your at it.

Have all new bits for Front end cones hi Lo's top arms any thing that can be replaced ! But was having a ning nong of a time getting the rubber seals to sit nice ! Plus I have no way of compressing the rubber cones

im pretty sure when I did it, with hi lows you can get away without the compressing tool

I usually fit the seal nearest the grease nipple thus;-

until I get the arm and shaft it and bolted up. Then slide the seal back in to place.

I guess it would depend on the Donuts and Hilos you have as to weather you can get them together without a compressor. I haven't ever been able to do it with new donuts without compressing them.

Apparently the thrust washers either side of the arm are different thickness which one goes where
