I did a search on the engine number of the original (8amuh615538) which came up as a aussie 850. The 1964 traveller is souh african, anyone know if they imported blocks from oz? If not they may have given me the wrong engine by mistake, there were a few there. What would be the correct prefix if its wrong?

It's an 1100 Van and according to factory ino, the chassis number doesn't distiguish between 1100 & K

10YJ/U/H -
The Engine looks to be the original 1100 engine as fitted.



99H/
It's an imported (UK) 998.



8AM/U/H
That one comes up (again from factory info) as a UK engine, they were imported from the UK and fitted to cars here, but likely as not in other teritories as well.
